A unique ring because of it's inscription which reads "Rutilans Eboraci Civita[ti]s cantor" (Rufus(?) of York, Musician(?) of the Episcopal City), which makes it a perfect gift for a music lover or someone interested in the history of the city of York. The large stone is surrounded by a deep bezel and the entire ring is also engraved with flowers and leaves. Black enamel makes the engravings stand out from the shiny gold or silver finish.

A timeless addition to any collection, perfect for those interested in Medieval British culture.

The original held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, features a sapphire plus delicate flowers and leaves. Our replica comes with a glass stone and gold plating.

Please note: gold or silver plated rings are not intended for constant wearing. Please take your ring off while taking a shower, washing the dishes, etc. to keep the gold shining longer.

This beautiful piece is part of Reliquaria's commitment to providing real medieval replicas. We are proud to be the Canadian importer of high quality goods from Armour and Castings, Ukraine's premier manufacturer of historic replicas.
